How Do First Time Home Buyers in Kalamazoo & Portage Find AmeriFirst
Poking around on the search engines this week, I found that searching for "first time home buyer Kalamazoo" didn't bring me to our own website. It was the same result with "first time home buyer Portage."
"What?! Really?! But we're based in the Kalamazoo and Portage area!"
Get Me Out of My Rental
Well, if renters want out of mom and dad's house in the Kalamazoo County area, or out of that apartment or house rental near Portage, they sure aren't going to find us. Why is that? Are we not talking about Kalamazoo/Portage enough? Is AmeriFirst ignoring West Michigan? We sure hope not...
The search ended up pointing me to a mortgage company (I suspect a broker instead of a banker like AmeriFirst) on the other side of the "mitten." Sure, you can apply for a loan on the web. We even have a section where you can apply for a mortgage online. But making probably the biggest financial decision of your life is pretty intimidating. A decision this big will take time and research. And maybe you'll want to meet with someone face to face to talk about things like loan pre-approval, credit concerns and closing costs. That's where we come in.
AmeriFirst Home Mortgage has the local flavor with the kind of service where you can walk right into our office to pay your bill or ask a question. If your mortgage company is in another city or another state, you can’t do that. So wherever our branches are, we're right there as your mortgage investment resource and partner.
AmeriFirst has offices all over. Our Michigan branches include Kalamazoo, Portage, Battle Creek, Flint, Saginaw, Benton Harbor, Gaylord, Grand Rapids and more. We're also in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina and Florida. So there's an office with local people near you to help get you out of the apartment and into your own home.
And just like the public service commercials on NBC say... now you know!
