Now that it's 2017 what’s changed? The truth is, for most, not much other than the number at the end of the date. Where there used to be a 6 there is now a 7 and that’s nothing to write home about in and of itself. However; that doesn’t speak to what you would like to change. “Resolutions” if you will. I’m not sure if it’s my millennial brain at work or just my own personal feelings on the matter but I for one have never been much for resolutions. Why? I think they place an unrealistic weight on otherwise totally obtainable goals. You want to quit smoking or you want to lose weight or perhaps a combination of the two and guess what? You can! You can absolutely do those things but as soon as you post on Facebook about it or tell a dozen people, you’ve just cut your chances of success in half. I’m not saying people naturally want to see you fail, but, it certainly makes for better gossip than the ladder. The point is, it’s 2017 now and any change you’d like to make is up to you, you’re in the driver’s seat so buckle up, adjust your mirrors and make sure you get where you’re going at a pace you’re comfortable with.
